A Creative Writing Excerpt:
She walked into the doorway, scanned the room and sat down her bags. It was late and she had been traveling for quite some time. Though the home was new, it had a familiar air about it. There was no couch or chair for her to lounge on, so she just sat on the ground. It was cold, bare but supportive. And for the first time in a long time, she took a deep breath and felt her body sink into the present moment. With no furniture in sight and no clear next step, she knew this was where she had been longing to be. Tired from the trip, she managed to smile just a bit. “Home sweet home,” she said.
The next day her furniture arrived along with a bouquet of orange roses with a note.

Consider your Soul Corner
As we open this door to the calendar New Year, there is a sense of a fresh start. There is a sudden pause as soon as the year declares itself. I was just talking to my mom about the boredom I’d been feeling entering the new year. But it felt kind of nice. I sat around and stared at the walls. I watched TV. My mind was blank. I didn’t know what to do with myself. I began to understand that boredom is honestly just a place to realize there is nothing that HAS to be done. Everything becomes a choice, limitless potential. And as I wonder what I will do with this limitless potential, I find peace in knowing I shouldn’t let this energy pass me by. I see everything and nothing all at once. Imagining what furniture I will fill the year with, reminds me that I can decorate this year however I desire. Everything is possible.
Receive the endless possibilities.

That’s the only thing that there’s just so little of.” She holds your hand through death and blooms with your rebirth. She gathers your tears and cleanses your aura.
For every season, I offer you a rose.
I offer you some softness.
I offer you a new beginning.
A beginning more aligned where your soul and your spirit reunite as they walk forward together hand in hand. Sip her sweetly, anoint yourself in her oils, and let her baptize you in her waters. If you take up her medicine, you will never be the same. Gather the pieces of your self-worth you mistakenly abandoned along the way. Know that you will be whole again.
How do you invite in her sweet medicine? Simply ask your heart, what do you want today? Then follow the breadcrumbs.
She is patient. She is kind. She keeps no record of wrongs. She will always wait for you. Just keep growing.
Consider:
Where have I experienced disconnection in my body?
Where have I abandoned myself or my desires?
How many different ways can I choose my heart today?
A Traditional Use of the Rose
The first rose water was made in the 10th century. It has long been associated with beauty and love.
Cleopatra was known for her beauty rituals. Rose was one of her most used plants in Ancient Egypt. The Ancient Egyptians had a deep reverence for The Rose. It has been noted that Cleopatra used rose water and rose oil in her beauty regimen. Roses were scattered on tables, floors, and used as major decor to enhance the atmosphere at her luxurious parties. Luxury. Indulgence. Regality.
