The Spill

Hello - My name is Marasia. Simone is my middle name and I’ve come to know it means '“one who hears.” I’ve taken that and ran with it as a part of this grand journey, and I’ve been listening to the whispers in the wind. Welcome to my corner of the world.

I am an aspiring writer or maybe I should just say writer. I published a poem in the Anthology Book of Poetry in the 7th grade and the little girl in me likes to remind me as often as she can. But I’ve always written as a safe space for myself. I call it my safe space to feel.

Combined with the art of writing, I am what you may call a community herbalist. After starting and closing a tea business after 4 years, I decided to venture from tea enthusiast into full on herbalist. I completed a spiritual herbalism apprenticeship that guided me into my deeper dive of the practice. And I now have my new baby Center Sage Herbal Remedies. More on that somewhere else.

But that’s me. I write about my self love affair (spiritual journey), my family in all capacities, and the synchronicities of this beautiful experience of life - I no longer believe in coincidences.
